01 WEBSITE DESIGN FOR JAZZDOR @ SFU
Jazzdor hosts music festivals in Germany and France, providing a stage for contemporary jazz performers and producers to showcase their compositions and improvisations. To enhance the festival's visibility, our team designed a microsite inspired by the festival poster we previously created. I contributed by designing the UI, ensuring it aligned with our team's vintage print aesthetic while delivering an engaging user experience. My goal was to attract users through clear, interactive artist introductions, making the site both visually compelling and informative.

02 SFUSNAP FEATURE DESIGN @ SFU
To enhance SFU students' campus experience, I designed a new feature for the SFU Snap app that enables users to view and update their personal information. Previously, the app lacked this functionality, preventing students from accessing key details like enrollment status and tuition accounts. By integrating goSFU's personal information features, this addition ensures students can conveniently manage their academic details within the app.

03 TRANSLINK BUS SHELTER DESIGN @ SFU
To reduce miscommunication between bus drivers and passengers, our team proposed interface improvements for Vancouver's local transit system, TransLink, enhancing clarity and efficiency in their interactions.

01 MAGAZINE THREAD DESIGN @ SFU
I designed a three-spread magazine layout featuring the photography of Christer Strömholm, focusing on composition, visual hierarchy, and image placement. To ensure a strong narrative flow, I carefully selected Strömholm's work, cropping and positioning each image according to visual principles such as leading lines, contrast, and balance. My approach emphasized a harmonious balance between text and imagery, creating a structured and engaging layout that enhances the impact of Strömholm's photography while maintaining clarity and visual appeal.

02 TEXTBOOK DESIGN @ JM EDUCATION
I designed and hand-manufactured four English textbooks, focusing on clear information organization, composition, and visual hierarchy. Using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator, I created both the book covers and content layouts to enhance readability and usability. Two examples include a vocabulary textbook designed to help students study and memorize words effectively and a CELPIP preparation book covering reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. My approach ensured that each textbook was structured for its intended purpose, making the learning experience more intuitive and engaging.
